What actually is The Cancer Swap Shop?
It’s a practical support space for people affected by cancer.
Take something that might help, donate something you no longer need, or simply come and have a look. You don’t need to bring something to take something.
From wigs and headwear to breast prostheses, treatment comfort items, oncology-friendly skincare, books and other useful items, everything has been donated to be passed on to someone who may need it.
No set price. No swapping required. Just community supporting community.

What can I donate?
We welcome items that helped make treatment, hospital stays, appointments or recovery that little bit easier — ready to be passed on to someone who may need them next.
Wigs & wig accessories • Headscarves & turbans • Soft hats & woolly hats • Breast prostheses • Mastectomy bras • PICC line covers • Drain bags & holders • Chemo bags & treatment totes • Treatment pillows & seatbelt cushions • New slippers & cosy socks • Blankets & comfort items • Cancer-friendly or oncology skincare • Books, puzzle books & journals for appointments
And anything else you found genuinely useful during your cancer experience.
If it helped you, there’s a good chance it could help someone else.
Items should be clean and in excellent condition, with personal care, skincare, slippers and similar hygiene-sensitive items new and unused.

No. You don’t need to bring or swap anything. If there’s something that could help you, you’re welcome to take it.
Is everything free?
There are no set prices. Everything in our Cancer Swap Shop is available on a donation basis, with all donations going back into supporting the work of House of Healing Collective CIC.
Please don’t let cost stop you from taking something you need.

No. You don’t need a referral to come along or use the Cancer Swap Shop.
